Nanotech heals spinal cord injury

Damn, mice are healthier than we are these days

Using a biodegradable nanoscale structure, researchers have been able to dictate what stem cells will do in healing tissue. In the case of spinal cord damage, the structure is packed with a chemical signal encouraging neuron growth, not glial cell growth. The result? Walking mice. After the little guy’s up and walking, the structure just dissolves. No drugs, no surgery.
