Robotic fleas

At Berkeley, the “Smart Dust” team has come up with a rubber-band powered robotic flea. The idea is to use a whole bunch of these things to create a sensor network. On your dog, I guess. Call me lacking in vision, but I don’t want to see the MEMS rubberband in this story. I want to see the 7 millimeter robot jumping. I imagine it’d be bad to swallow one of these by accident too. Then you’d need to swallow a robotic spider, and so on.
